Forward-looking management

Fit for Future

What compliance challenges will the future bring? And how can they be mastered in the best and most convenient way? These questions are constantly on Pythagoras’ mind. The Swiss company launched its internal “Fit for Future” program in the spring of 2021 to ensure that it can continue to offer its customers the right answers and tailored solutions in the future. The program extends across all areas of the company – from development to service. Pythagoras’ aim is to act with foresight so that it is optimally prepared and thus able to respond even faster to current customer requirements

Ensuring continuity

The “Fit for Future” program was initiated by the company’s founder, Werner Blum, and will shape Pythagoras’ work over the coming years. To ensure continuity throughout this period and beyond, Werner Blum has decided to leave the operational management of the company to younger hands. He will continue to support Pythagoras’ development as a member of the Supervisory Board. Hubert Krattinger, member of the senior management team since 2016, succeeded him as CEO at the end of May 2021.

Keeping customers in focus

Hubert Krattinger graduated from law school in Bern and was admitted to the bar. He then worked for a major Swiss bank for around 25 years, holding various positions in the Legal, Compliance and Business Risk Management departments. During this time, he set up and managed local and international teams – both in developed and emerging markets.

At Pythagoras, he is focused on continuing to provide professional, expert service and forward-looking solutions to customers in over 50 countries – from all international Pythagoras locations and together with strong partners.
