The solution in a nutshell

The Pythagoras API works technically like a client for Pythagoras solutions and requires a local installation of the Partner or Transaction Screening module in your IT infrastructure. Communication between the third-party application and the Pythagoras API takes place via handles, whereby a valid session must be opened in order to access the Pythagoras functions. The REST/SOAP API offers 40 predefined methods to call various data and functions. The notification function requires a REST/SOAP web service with the specified interface in the client application. The service receives results from Pythagoras processes asynchronously. This is useful when these notifications are meant to trigger certain actions in third-party applications, for example, messages or alerts.
