Pythagoras starts with a team of experienced banking professionals and IT experts working on modular all-in-one solutions for compliance and client management. World-Check is integrated as a reference database for effective risk management.
2006
The Swiss Official Gazette of Commerce (SOGC) is introduced as a second reference database. The screening solution eSHAB Solution enables the comparison of electronic SOGC content with customer data.
2007
The company Berma becomes a sales partner of Pythagoras, which specializes in IT applications for the financial sector.
2009
A service center is established in Cape Town, South Africa, as part of the internationalization of Pythagoras.
2013
The Pythagoras solution portfolio is expanded to include native character screening to recognize Asian characters. A service center is established in Hong Kong to meet the growing demand in East Asia.
2015
Dow Jones Factiva will be integrated as a reference database to provide customers worldwide with high-quality data for compliance.
2019
The company opened its headquarters in Slovenia, focusing on software development, testing and third-level support.
2020
A second location opened in Geneva in addition to the headquarters in Zug in order to better serve French-speaking customers.
2022
the new release 3.61 of Pythagoras is being tested in the beta phase, accompanied by module enhancements.
