Pythagoras Solutions

The Pythagoras SOAP API is an interface for programming applications. The interface enables the integration of certain functions of Pythagoras solutions into your own applications (e.g. as part of an account opening process). Based on standardized interface functions, you can develop your own applications according to your internal needs. These can address the API to query data and execute specific functions.

The solution in a nutshell

Technically the Pythagoras API works like a client for Pythagoras solutions. The Partner or Transaction Screening module must therefore be locally installed in your IT infrastructure. The third-party application and the Pythagoras API communicate via handles. A valid session must be opened to initiate the Pythagoras functions. The API has 40 predefined methods to access various data and functions. The notification function requires a SOAP web service with the specified interface in the client application. The service receives results from Pythagoras processes asynchronously. This is useful when these notifications are meant to trigger certain actions in third-party applications, for example, messages or alerts.
